At 4.30 yesterday, emails from @Arsenal landed for Red, Silver & JG members re renewals for next season.

The email I’ve seen for JG renewal talks of a 10% retail voucher, the usual ‘exclusive digital content access’, events, etc. No mention of match ticket access.
On closer look, seems @Arsenal has removed all references to match ticket access on their website membership page. 2/6

For me, the same old ‘digital content’ line being peddled as a major benefit for members is crap. Some may value it, but you can get decent content online about the club for nothing. It’s something to pad out the ‘benefits’ list, in my opinion. 3/6
The 10% retail discount is pathetic. The club know that most people won’t use it anyway, and outside of match kit (next season’s look crap anyway) our merchandise is largely shit. It’s partly why our commercial income is way off other clubs. 4/6
And let’s not forget for ‘full’ members you get your membership pack. Kids value the JG ones (even though they’re tat) but the adult member packs are diabolical. 5/6
All in all, this renewal exercise is poorly thought out & delivered. With no match ticket access would a few quid off really hurt that much?
