But much more is needed in addition to the zone. Once it is established that not arresting women increases safety then why not roll that out over the whole country? The govt. could implement the HAC recommendation to decrim sex worker on the street & in premises to promote safety
Plus austerity cuts and benefit sanctions which have targeted women, and mothers in particular, and caused massive rises in prostitution must be reversed.
