This story about what happened to Alexander Vindman, after he testified - entirely truthfully and honourably - about Trump's attempt to suck Ukraine into his re-election bid, is really upsetting. Among many deeply disturbing elements, I find that detail about Alexander Vindman's twin being fired too, just for being his brother, incredibly dark. I'm not sure that would even happen in Russia.
I'm not American, and have no particular enthusiasm for Joe Biden, but their respective effects on Ukraine are incomparable. Biden got stuck in, and forced through important and substantive reform in Ukrainians' interest; Trump just tried to use it as another disposable prop.
