Had some questions about disability self identification in Labour.

Yes, Neurodiversity (including dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism) counts as a disability.

Yes, mental health conditions count as disabilities too.

There is a huge amount of diversity within disability.
It’s up to you to decide whether you would like to self identify within the Labour movement. You don’t have to if you don’t want to.

. @pennyb made a really important point that I’m going to repeat here: it’s really important that we have more disabled representatives at every level of our politics.
