'Freedom of speech' is a myth.

If it were more than that, then people wouldn't hide behind fake names and avatars because they are terrified of the repercussions of having their identities linked to their opinions.

Anonymity is always rooted in fear.

Literally millions of people in 'free' countries are absolutely terrified of people knowing their most basic opinions.

If you fear losing your livelihood because someone found out you like Trump, or voted for Brexit, then you're a hostage. You are not 'free'.

It's a myth.

"I don't want to lose my job!"

For what...?

Supporting your country's democratically elected leader?

For having opinions shared by 90% of the world's population?
