I am in Central Scotland for Regional List purposes. Go look at my current Regional List MSPs. Then come back and tell me what Indy supporting MSPs I am putting at risk by not giving the SNP my 2nd vote. Go on. I'm all ears.
In fact I'll make it easy for you. Last time I voted SNP 1 , SNP 2. This is who I got as Regional List MSPs for my efforts: Mark Griffin Lab, Alison Harris Tory, Monica Lennon Lab, Richard Leonard Lab, Mgt Mitchell Tory, Graham Simpson Tory, Elaine Smith Lab. Worked out well. 🙄
So please don't tell me I'm jeopardising a pro Indy majority by giving my list vote to the ISP or another pro Indy party. I'm jeopardising nothing. I've heehaw to jeopardise. Jog on.
My point is that as Indy voters we need to be smart. Look at your particular region. How strongly are the SNP polling in your region? How far ahead of Lab/Tory/Libs are they? Are they likely to win all the constituency seats? It's not a one size fits all for all of Scotland.
I'll be making up my mind nearer the time of the next Holyrood election. See what the lay of the land is polling wise. But no way will I be an automatic SNP 1, SNP 2 this time. I fell for that one last time. More fool me.
