So, the Sol Campbell Debate regarding the comparison of management opportunities between black and white former players

Whilst I ,partially, understand the argument against the Campbell example. This doesn’t mean there is no debate to be had.

So I found some better examples 👇🏼
Paul Ince. Captained England. Distinguished career at highest level. First Job Macclesfield.Success at MK Dons, next job, Blackburn.

Gerrard & Lampard. Both captained England. Distinguished career at highest level. First Job Derby, Rangers. FL success at Derby, next job Chelsea
Darren Moore. Sacked once (Whilst 4th). Relegated once. Last job, WBA. Next available job, Doncaster.

Alan Pardew. Sacked 5 times. (4 of those times the club were in the relegation zone, one of which was WBA when Moore took over). Relagated Twice. Given another PL job 3 times.
Michael Johnson. Eng U21 Coach. Led & Qualified Guyana to their first ever Gold Cup. Applied for 10/11 jobs, yet to gain a position.

Steve Cooper, Former Eng U17 Coach. Won U17 World Cup. Straight in at Swansea.
In no way am I suggesting these Black Coaches would be better than their White Counterparts, nor these White Coaches don’t deserve the jobs they’ve got (except Pardew, he must be unreal at interviews)

Im simply highlighting better comparisons than the over-used Campbell example.
Just to reiterate what I am suggesting is that there is a clear disadvantage for former black players looking to obtain leadership positions in football clubs in comparison to their white colleagues and counterparts
