The WE scandal is jut beginning with yet another ethics investigation of the PM for funneling contracts to it. His mother, wife and brother all involved with it. In fact to the tune of $300,000+ in “speaking fees” paid. Now ...”hey let’s remember the children”.
What’s as galling about such disgusting conduct as person in public life?It’s those who now shamelessly defend it. All, to the person, are those who financially gain from the PM...from strategists to paid employees...”the PM’s family has always been involved with helping kids”
Some privately cloak it in “loyalty” to the party. It doesn’t matter if it is dishonest or just horrific policy. They float on the hope they may be graced with another job or contract. The type of politician who is a political animal seduces them with the possibility of reward.
Not probability, just possibility. These same who defend this dishonesty become part of the problem. But beware they too will be chucked under the bus if necessary because they lose/lost credibility. So you will note all who defend this has a financial gain somewhere for doing so
But note the defenders to these blunders caught aren’t a species known only to the federal Liberals. They existed with Mr Harper, Mulroney et al. Here’s some advice...have some self respect, go get a real job. But hey “let’s remember the children”.
