for the longest time, i was absolutely disgusted by the idea of an uncircumsized penis. they looked weird; resembling crayons and it just...looked WRONG. but i decided to educate myself on the topic and i made some pretty horrifying discoveries. +

a baby is strapped down to a table, his lower body covered with foam apart from the penis, he is lathered up and they snip off the foreskin. no sedatives, no hand holding, nothing. the baby physically cannot consent.
now, let's think of this from the perspective of a teenager who hasn't been circumcised; say he's watching porn and he sees this circumsized penis and wonders why his looks different. he researches it and finds out that as a child, his skin got snipped off. idk about you, but +
i'd personally be pretty pissed off. it sounds silly, but he could potentially lose a lot of confidence in himself, especially if future partners turned him down simply because he wasn't circumcised.

you've probably heard that jewish men get circumcised the most but actually, muslim men do! i'm not sure how accurate that is as of 2020 but when i wrote my essay, it was more common in muslim communities.

so, first of all, the foreskin is a protective outer shell of sorts to keep the head of the penis safe. the cutting of the foreskin not only gets rid of the five most sensitive areas of the penis, but over 20K (!!!) nerves are destroyed.
in the 1920s, circumcision grew popular, for people believed that circumcising a male will prevent STDs. while this can be the case for some, most STDs are from lack of hygiene or having sexual relations with someone who has one already. it was also believed that circumcision+
helped prevent penile cancer but,, most penile cancer occurs in elderly men and those with poor genital hygiene. the foreskin as a whole is actually extremely important for sex, as it can provide an easier glide which creates less friction, and can prevent fluids from +
drying up and getting stuck in there.
so, all in all, yes. uncircumcised dicks look weird. i'll admit that without shame. but if you think about it, so do circumcised ones! all penises look weird imo but uncircumcized ones specifically have been denormalized and considered gross and unnattractive.
this is mostly due to media like porn and sexual magazines etc. it's really unfortunate because there are millions of men who still have foreskin and i wouldn't be surprised if some of them are insecure about it due to the stigma.
anyways, i hope this thread was able to give you some insight on why circumcision in men is truly horrible :( yes boycott all men but like...let them have this at least.
