This is the best interview I’ve listened to all year.

Plz only reply if you’ve listened to it, can hold a rational conversation on topics you may not fully endorse, & are averse to thought-shaming.
I read/listen to everything on both sides of the spectrum.

If there’s something you think I should read vanquishing his perspective, please share.

That said I’m shocked by how many “liberal” friends who actually listen and then are surprised by the consistency of his positions.
“This is just bailing out the people that caused the problems.”

“5,000 years of trust ... has been broken. “
It’s hard to argue with his core premises:

- The elites have benefitted handsomely for decades, while selling out most Americans’ future.

- They’ve done this through over-financialization, control of the economic engine, and the legislative process.
“The Millenials today are nothing more than 19th Century modern day serfs.”
Props to @PBS for publishing the interview in totality (Rogan style).

I laughed out loud a couple times. I cringed a few times as well.

But yes it sucked me in more than any interview I’ve heard in 2020.
Regardless of your own reception, there’s no way you can have a fully formed opinion if you don’t listen to, nor contend with, opposition perspectives.

Bannon is influential with Deplorables, Beltway-types, & many others around the globe.

He is firmly anti-Elites & anti-China.
In China’s own words, they call it a multi-generational ideological war for the future.

It also appears we are waging on ourselves:

- silencing rogue opinions
- never holding those in power accountable
- “critically dismantling” the foundations that our society currently exists
The “Globalists” / the Party of Davos / the US ruling elite in many ways *have* acted consistently in their own favor - against the backbone of this country, in support of profits in China (and elsewhere).

And the first step to addressing this issue is acknowledging it.
Bannon is one of the only people to try to capture this populist energy - from both the left (he loves Bernie!), and the right - to take part in his “fire breathing nationalist agenda”, and to speak out against our *obviously* broken economic and power systems across party lines.
Are there structural pieces of society that we need to continuously improve upon, especially in light of the rising BLM movement? Of course.

Yet modern day Americans are perhaps the least racist humans in all of history, & percentage of true bigots goes down thru old age daily.
But would the elites that have sold us out for their own benefit for decades prefer that we fight amongst ourselves, rather than zoom out and find the canonical root of our societal inequality?

Of course.
The financiers, globalists, and cantillon insiders get richer every day while the majority of the people - the heartbeat of our country - are pitted against each other by the pundits and political class.

It’s absolutely embarrassing and disgusting.
Is he my guiding light? No.

Is he consistently more insightful than most MSM hacks? Obviously.

Regardless, I highly recommend the original 3hr interview for both those hoping to disprove, and those hoping to learn, in its entirety.

And I wish I didn’t have to fear tweeting it.
Just to make sure nobody who made it this far doesn’t leave with some spice in their mouth, here’s one of the most memorable spots of the interview 🙃
