The Beatles were massively underrated and unsuccessful despite being quite a decent boy band and in this thread I’m going to explain why.
Firstly we need to look at the more noteworthy Scottish boy bands of that era such as Take That, The Eagles and Enrique Iglesias.
Both of these bands found success by making, what’s called in the business, musical albums. This is usually, but not limited to, music that the bands put on an album. The Beatles never did this. Rango Star once admitted in a BBC interview that they “...simply forgot to do that.”
It wasn’t until the late 80’s that The Beatles released their ‘best of’ compilation on a USB, whereas most of the rival bands had decided to put their musical albums on vinyl because it had been invented already.
Shortly after their debut album “The Beatles Music” was released, drummer and avid Beatles band member Paul McCartanay choked on a peanut. This was the beginning of the end for whatever band I said I was talking about.
