These two things are the same

It is morally despicable to equate petty vandalism & meaningless protests with the Maoist Cultural Revolution. It treats the latter as a total abstraction-- it is historically irresponsible-- hermeneutically indefensible. The mark of someone who does not care about History at all

Why yes it's exactly like a post-civil war famine condition after decades of imperial warfare carving up your country after decades more of opium smuggling & revolutions coordinated by the British Empire-- the Target burning is just like Maoist China. The same thing.

Perhaps the reason why the Maoists were so ruthless was because the entire society had put no value on human life for decades because they were subject to perpetual warfare & famine-- just like America today-- same thing.
