In the 2015 NWSL Expansion draft, teams were allowed to protect two of their Federation Players and Orlando was allowed to choose up to two in the draft. Here's a quick thread of the possible USWNT & CWNT players that we could build our roster around next season. (1/10)
Chicago-
Morgan Brian
Tierna Davidson
Julie Ertz
Alyssa Naeher
Casey Short

Ertz will almost definitely be protected, but between the other four, I would take almost any of them. (2/10)
Houston-
Allysha Chapman
Nichelle Prince
Sophie Schmidt

Prince gets protected, one of the other Canadians, I don't think we choose the other. (3/10)
North Carolina-
Abby Dahlkemper
Crystal Dunn
Stephanie Labbé
Sam Mewis

Labbé is likely unprotected, we draft the other player they leave unprotected. (4/10)
Orlando-
Ashlyn Harris
Ali Krieger
Alex Morgan
Emily Sonnett
Shelina Zadorsky

No clue what Orlando will do, likely Ashlyn and Ali get left unprotected, we wouldn't pass on Alex but I doubt Orlando would leave her unprotected. (5/10)
Portland-
Adrianna Franch
Tobin Heath
Lindsey Horan
Christine Sinclair
Becky Sauerbrunn

Horan will be protected, and Tobin is almost guaranteed. Doubt we would chose Sinclair or Becky due to age, and unlikely we'd use one of the picks on a GK (6/10)
OL-
Allie Long
Megan Rapinoe

Both will be protected. (7/10)
Sky Blue-
Carli Lloyd
Mallory Pugh
Kailen Sheridan

Carli will almost certainly be left unprotected, but I doubt we draft someone who turns 38 in a week, no matter her legendary status. (8/10)
Utah-
Diana Matheson
Kelley O'Hara
Christen Press
Desiree Scott

O'Hara and Press get protected, we likely pass on Matheson and Scott. (9/10)
Washington-
Rose Lavelle

Rose is their only Federation Player, so she'll be protected.
Obviously, there will be trades and transfers before the end of the season, and I'm sure that James O'Connor likely already has a plan, but I am WAY too hyped after the brand reveal. (10/10)
