So I read some AB political commentator(I can't remember who) say something that we have to assume that the UCP and the NDP share a common goal of helping Albertans, but they just have a different approach. I completely disagree.
Outside of words, I see no evidence that the UCP has a goal of helping Albertans. If I were to look at it from an evidence only standpoint, it actually looks far more like the goal of the UCP is to award massive amounts of public wealth (both actual money and .....
public social wealth) to private corporations. That seems to be the only clear goal I can see outside of talk. It looks far more like a snatch and grab than anything designed to help Alberta. Can anyone point to anything that would contravene this?
They appear to be simply taking advantage of a desperate population that lacks the ability to tell the difference between fantasy and reality.
If you were to remove all the talk, and look only at actions, I just can't see how any of these actions could possibly improve conditions for Albertans. I can't even see how it's possible to think that???
I suppose it is possible to pass this stuff off as just simple incompetence. But even the most incompetent, would have relented after the first round of "job creating tax cuts". I've never experienced this level of incompetence in an company I have every worked for or with.
Please ignore all the freaking typos. Hahaha
The other thing is that they actually HAVE accomplished lots of things, they've passed lots of bills, handed out massive amounts of public money. It just so happens that all of those things hurts Albertans more than helping them.
If there were only a few of them, you could pass it off as incompetence, but there a large number of them, and they keep doing it over and over.
