Just completed watching @Haqiqatjou's deconstruction of @JonathanACBrown's arguments in @mohammed_hijab podcast.

Below are my views:

I'm just wondering how Dr. Brown got a doctorate. He just doesn't know how to make an argument. As a hardcore secular-liberal, all his views are incoherent, irrational & directly contradict Islam.

I don't know why @DrShadeeElmasry refers to Dr. Brown as a "Traditional Hambali".

Dr. Shadee tried to make all the excuses for Dr. Brown, going as far as trivializing the issue of his belief in the "right" to blasphemy, gay marriage and salvation of Kuffar, which are the central thesis of Dr. Brown's Yaqeen papers.

Instead, Dr. Shadee goes on to label genuinely-concerned critics as "Kharijites", "rats, cockroaches and hyenas", while Dr. Brown calls them "a-holes" for calling him out.

I think, both Dr. Shadee and Dr. Brown especially should make a public apology for taking wrong stance on issues and misleading their followers. Please receive the critique constructively.

Your critics are not your enemies.
