How to get rich by doing nothing (almost guaranteed):

1. Track your expenses.

By doing this you'll eventually see where & when you can save extra cash.

Just by cutting only $5 a day, you'll have $150 saved up at the end of the month.

But what to do with this cash?

2. Emergency fund.

This is your friend in times of crisis, like if you lose your job. Some extra cash would help you for a while ahead.

It should cover 3-6 months of your monthly expenses. Calculate how much you need to save to reach this in x months.

What about the rest?

3. Index funds.

A low-cost index fund beats most investors in growth. The best part is that you have to put in no work.

Saving $150 a month in an S&P 500 index fund will by 2040 be worth $73,000 assuming 7% interest.

4. Dividends.

Investing in dividend stocks will accumulate a great source of passive income. Reinvesting dividends + compound interest = wealth.

You should look up lists of dividend aristocrats & kings. Basically free money.
