2. No, you still NEED to do it
People have a creative idea and want to sell it.
Good.
But how good your content is is UTTERLY irrelevant if nobody sees it.
So despite that, you NEED to learn HOW TO SELL.
This is a basic skill no matter what you do

That's why you see people like me, @Pathtomanliness or @ofwudan constantly promoting their stuff on Twitter.

3. You work fulltime
You can achieve true freedom with working online, yes.
But this comes way later.
At first you will need to work any fucking free minute on your business until it reaches a decent size.
Then you can chill.

4. Twitter is not passive
Yes, I get around 30k traffic a month on my Twitter profile, but that's because I tweet all day, every day.
Once you stop putting stuff out, you stop making money.
The only real passive income is SEO.

5. You will fail (sometimes)
You need to get used to failure.
I wrote a book that nobody gave a single fuck about.
Spend WEEKS writing it. Nobody cared.
I learned a lot from this (i.e. market research FIRST)
But nobody tells you this in the beginning

6. Hate
As soon as you become somewhat successful (especially with a personal brand) you will draw hate.
The Internet is just like that.
You need thick skin to soldier through this.
And NEVER apologize to the mob.

7. You need a strong mind
There will be a lot of days where you really don't want to do that shit.
Be it the tedious task, or even doing the things you like.
But if you want to be successful, you STILL need to do it.
No excuses.
Other ppl are showing up every day.

In the end, it is a business and you need to treat is as such, otherwise you will not be able to live from it.
Especially not comfortably.
