Detailed thread to highlight the Hasm 2020 Military Maneuvers.
So what was in the video? https://twitter.com/TheExiledHuman/status/1281319284552105985
At first it involved a combined Operation that involved, Airstrikes conducted by F-16s and light attack Alpha Jet.
To provide fire support for the Special forces to then deploy.
Under the cover of F-16s, 120mm towerd artillery and Bm-21 MLRS and some M-60A3 from the mechanised division.
Then SFs would e deployed to attack the "HQ of the Assymetrical troops" which are basically either Mercs or Militias.
It also Involved some pictures of Mig-29M2
Back to the plan, Under the cover of towed 120 mm artillery, BMP-1, M-60s will press on the attack on the Mercenaries HQ/locations.
All under the cover of Shilka (ZSU-23-4) and Igla Man-pad. my guess these are for providing protection mostly against drones.
Was involved in the attack on the Mercenaries as given in the scenario as in the pictures below also some AH-64 Apaches, Mig-29M2 Mirage 2000 and some M270 MLRS.
Also Involved the strategic opening, deployment of some Armoured Units.
M1A1 and M-60A3.
Also the strategic opening and deployment of Sa'aka SFs (thunderbolt), seen below utilising a Ch-47 Chinook and Humvees.
Also the deployment of Paratrooper and SF paratrooper units.
Involved Amphibious Assault, We can see Paratroopers, KA-52s (from the Mistral) and Saa'ka units deployed.
Last stage involves some decent Messages, highlighting the deep strike capabilities of the EAF, showing multiple Rafale omnirole jets and Mig29M2 performing Buddy/Buddy refueling.
Very thin line visible in the first picture, showing the refueling
It's important to note that some of the units involved were from the RDF (Rapid deployment forces), seen here on the side of the humvee.
Air defence did some live fire shooting, SA-2 (Egyptian variant طائر الصباح) and Shilka
More pictures of the artillery, includes the Egyptian Made sled propelled artillery which consists of a 120 mm on a Ural chasis and the Sakr 45 MRLS.
