Say hello to Trump supporter and Confederate flag advocate Jerry Crutchfield who thinks #BubbaWallace is a “n**ger” that “should be hung out to dry by a noose.”

Update: Jerry Richardson is a firefighter in Cecil County, Maryland, but technically is a member/volunteer which is common in some smaller towns/areas.

He doesn’t technically “work” directly for @CecilCoGov or @CecilCountyDES even though they rely on @NEFC4 for fire services.
Cecil County says it’s up to @NEFC4 to address the issue of having an individual who posts blatantly racist comments to social media working there.

Although, if they won’t put pressure on them, perhaps an elected official, Cecil County Executive Dr. Alan McCarthy will.
Official roster shows Jerry Crutchfield as a firefighter servicing Cecil County. His Instagram post from 2014 shows his personalized fire coat.
Jerry Crutchfield is a member the fire company for Cecil County. Sure, he’s technically not a county employee. Why pass the buck? You really want someone who posted “Black Lives Don’t Matter” and the N-word responding to your residents emergencies? https://twitter.com/cecilcountydes/status/1281321691365412864?s=21
If you’re a resident of a Cecil County and don’t feel safe with Jerry Richardson responding to emergency calls, you can always contact county executive Dr. Alan McCarthy at 410-996-5203.

North East Fire Company provided email addresses for complaints:

“He doesn’t work for us or Cecil County government,” but when 911 is called you do send Jerry Crutchfield out to respond.

What if Jerry, who posts lynch threats online, is deployed to an auto accident and sees a bumber sticker he doesn’t like? Will he value Black lives then?
Jerry Crutchfield also posts videos of proud boys and other fascists engaged in street violence.
These fire dogs that work with Jerry didn’t do anything wrong. Their identities have been protected.
Fire departments respond to car accidents too. Just because you don’t live in Cecil County, Maryland, doesn’t mean you won’t come across Jerry Crutchfield driving through.
Update: North East Fire Company has scrubbed its Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Strange move. No official word if Jerry Crutchfield is still on board.
@kotywright, President of North East Fire Company, are you still allowing Jerry Crutchfield to be a firefighter, you know, the guy who says Black lives don’t matter and calls NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace a n**ger and wants him to be lynched?
The town of North East, Maryland can be reached here. Are they ok with Jerry Crutchfield working emergencies if he believe Black lives don’t matter and thinks “n**gers” should be lynched?
