The truth is someone harder to swallow - the people in prison are primarily ‘normal’ people; in the main they are not dissimilar to the people you interact with every day, they are people, just like me and you.

It is important to mention that very few crimes were linked to employment; almost all were due to other circumstances and events.

Employers must understand that a blanket policy of not hiring people with criminal records hurts their own chances of hiring the best candidates (& society).
