New government guidance on outdoor performances includes this tip that performers should only attend performances when required for their part.

So basically... don't turn up for shows you're not actually in? đŸ€”
This one makes more sense but is still quite fun: don't have too many people entering or exiting at the same time.

'EXEUNT' IS BANNED EVERYBODY, NOBODY EXEUNT.
Ooooh, controversial: you should be off-book from day 1 of rehearsals.

Some directors will hate that, right? But on the other hand, if someone's being slow to learn their lines you can now say 'THE GOVERNMENT SAYS YOU HAVE TO.'
Productions should be fully mapped out in advance of rehearsals.

Collaborative staging decisions are now BANNED. STAND WHERE YOU ARE TOLD THE GOVERNMENT SAID SO. NO NOT THERE, *THERE*.
That the Official Guidance From The UK Government is that props should only be handled by the performers that use them - rather than played with by anyone who thinks they're cool - will be music to a lot of Stage Managers' ears tbf.
‘Considering where crowding [of audience members] could take place, such as at toilet facilities.’

LUCKILY this one isn’t a problem as we know nobody has had to queue for the toilets at a performance ever.
