3) Trump & ICE are pursuing a policy that is transparently cruel: a ban on international students in the US if their schools move online in the fall.

4) Trump took another step towards ending asylum. There are a lot of details but the takeaway is: they want to effectively close the US to asylum seekers fearing for their lives.

These are all part of Trump's strategy to get his supporters excited by demonizing immigrants AND to distract from the fact that his actions on COVID have and will continue to kill hundreds of thousands of (disproportionately Black & brown) people in this country.
Trump & ICE want a white America. And they're moving closer every day.
