German politician @sannekurz of @Die_Gruenen was scheduled to headline event by HSS (Munich) - the int’l wing of Nazi-inspired Indian paramilitary #RSS. @AmbLindnerIndia sparked firestorm of controversy when he visited fascist group’s HQ in 2019.

Munich was the site of Hitler’s first coup attempt, the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch. He was arrested, imprisoned, wrote Mein Kampf, & published it in 1925. That same year, #RSS was founded in India. For next 15 years, RSS founders/ideologues wrote in support of Nazi racial policies.
While #RSS stages pogroms against minorities in India, HSS serves as its “soft” face on int’l stage, reaching out to politicians & other public servants. Some politicians are less principled than @sannekurz. Like @CongressmanRaja, pictures here celebrating RSS’s founding w/HSS.
