In many public school districts, para-teachers, many non-teaching staff workers (cleaning, cafeteria, bus) are not full time, or are contractors. And therefore not eligible for full benefits, or cannot afford S/LDTI.

And while his rosy probability numbers are indeed so deeply pink I suspect them of being cherry-picked, they’re entirely unrealistic for much of the United States, especially in rural places where hospitals are already breaking down.

And a PS: I doubt he’s the primary caretaker and chief of operations in his house. Most male doctors aren’t. His spouse is the one likely doing far more of the infrastructure work (no matter what he claims). And even if he is a unicorn, he has backup... unlike single parents.
