Scrap the CV and do something different. I offered a girl a job this week after she sent me a tiktok video of the reasons why I should hire her. She then chased up with a second video highlighting her passion - she starts in 2 weeks.

Other applications have included: Cvs via nail art, press releases, fake newspaper clipping announcements, a twitter thread of why they want to work for Rise. I even got sent gifts to my home

Be ONLINE - for digital and content roles , you NEED to be online. Twitter, engage with the people that work their, follow the team manager or senior. Interact and get your name out there. I offered a guy a job this week who just connected and SHOWN what he is good at, rather

Apply for jobs you REALLY want - and make your CV visual. I’ve recieved lengthy text heavy CVs and applications , and I want colour, a picture of you , screenshots of work you’ve done. Or just a meme! Anything

If you’ve got no experience - don’t sweat! I had numerous people in my team with 0 years experience but what they had was passion. They shown what they bring to the team and how they can help me - solve problems or fill gaps. You don’t need experience
Don’t think you need to go to uni - I’ve not looked at the university/education section of a CV ONCE since running a business.
I don’t care if you failed GCSE - come be different or show you have something to offer. It’s 2020 - the world is your oyster
