During a television transmission of The Jonathan Ross Show broadcast on Saturday 7 October 2015, TV chat show host Jonathan Ross made a series of comments about tripe that might have been designed to provoke the indignation of tripe lovers all across the nation.

During an interview with Jessica Ennis-Hill, CBE she asked him whether he had tried tripe. His response was to look aghast and exclaim: “Have you even met another human being who’s actually tried it?”

TMB chairman Sir Norman Wrassle heard of the comments and immediately wrote to Mr Ross demanding an apology. As of today, despite the passage of almost five years, no such apology has been received.

We have never previously circulated this on social media. But five years is long enough.

Tripe lovers wishing to take this matter up with Mr Ross are asked to please refrain from cyber bullying.
