/ So much debate over #BothVotesSNP treats the regional list vote as a second preference. It's not. You get a vote for your constituency representative and a vote for your party of choice on the regional list.
/ @theSNP won a majority in the Scottish Parliament with a combination of constituency and regional MSPs. #BothVotesSNP can deliver an SNP, and therefore pro-independence, majority.
/ Even if you didn't agree with a #BothVotesSNP strategy to deliver a pro-independence majority, then why establish a new 'list party' when there is already a progressive, pro-indy party in the Scottish Green Party - which is a known quantity with many shared values?
/ Much of the debate around establishing pro-independence parties to stand on the regional list ignores the existence of the Scottish Greens, and their proven track record of supporting and advocating for independence.
/ If I had a second preference vote in the Scottish Parliament election (which I don't - see above!) then I would give it to a progressive party, with a proven track record on campaigning for independence.
