There is a counter-intuitive reality with anti-racism and anti-prejudice in general which is that the more anti-prejudice you become the more space for prejudice you create.

An example of this is the natural endeavour to help minorities in need that can easily turn into a patronizing and apparent self-serving mission.

So often people on the far left are trapped in this space in which using their privilege to help ends up revealing a “savior” complex to the poor inferior minorities. How is this a prefered space to be in?

Isn’t this space the acknowledgment that such a society is so overwhelmingly privileged, that an excess of care becomes in and of itself bigoted? #antiracism #racism #bigotry
