

1. The borders are opening AFTER midnight on the 14th, meaning you get to travel on the 15th.
2. The borders of Morocco will NOT BE OPEN FOR TOURISM or tourists, therefore the visas service at the consulate will not resume is activities for foreigners.
3. Only Moroccan citizens, including those living abroad, working abroad or studying abroad AND THEIR FAMILIES and foreigners who live in Morocco, as well as their families will be able to enter the national territory.
4. If you have a Moroccan ID card but another passport, you are fine.

5. If you are planning on going to Morocco to get married to a Moroccan citizen, we are afraid you will need to postpone.
6. For foreigners who live in Morocco, it is mandatory to have a residence card "carte de séjour" to enter Morocco.
7. According to the official statement, the national airlines (Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia) will be scheduling the necessary flights for the success of this operation. We will update this information if we have any news on the subject.

Before travelling to Morocco, the authorities are requesting you to get 2 tests. The RESULTS DATE (and NOT the test date) should not exceed 48 hours before the departure date. 






















2- The Antibody test which is a blood/serology test which indicates whether the person had a contact or not with the virus without developing the symptoms or is currently infected.
As the NHS is currently offering tests mostly to people who have symptoms or who live with someone with symptoms, you might have no other option than to do the tests privately. There are many private options that can be found online.
10. For those who wish to drive, ferries will be programmed, exclusively from the ports of Sète (in France) and Genoa (in Italy), to the exclusion of any other port.
The travelers of these ferries will be required to provide a PCR test of less than 48 hours and to comply with the strict hygiene measures. A PCR check could possibly be carried out during the trip.
11. Each citizen is responsible for making their own arrangements and finding the most convenient clinic for them where they can get their tests done.
12. Foreigners (eg. tourists who were stranded) can naturally leave Morocco if they wish.
13. If a foreigner is married to a Moroccan they will need to prove it. And provide an address in Morocco.
FUTURE STUDENTS. For students wishing to leave Morocco to study abroad, the government has not yet given the procedure for the authorization.
FAMILIES. We are trying to see what the authorities are saying about kids tests. We will provide an answer as soon as we have it.
14. Regarding people who intend to come to Morocco by car through the ports of Sète (France) and Genoa (Italy), and whose tests validity is less than the time of the journey, an additional PCR test will be carried out on board the boat.
15. Due to the exceptional nature of the current operation, compensation between airlines is no longer possible due to legal and practical considerations. Consequently, only tickets purchased from Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia are valid.
