most of you may know courtney love as the lead singer of riot grrrl band hole and ex-wife of kurt cobain, the lead singer of nirvana.
most people hate courtney love, but for all of the wrong reasons. she's hated mostly because nirvana fans believe her to have played a role in kurt cobain's death.
however, what most people don't know (or choose to ignore, i should say) is that courtney is extremely problematic, with her racist, misogynistic, white feminist ideals.

she was also controlling and abusive towards kurt cobain. in this video clip you can see courtney trying to take kurt's glasses from him while he wants to wear them (0:00) and moving him to be in the view of the press (0:45), as he's looking clearly upset (mtv vma's, 1993)
courtney also accused kurt of domestic violence (when she was the one abusing him) and kept changing her story to mess with him emotionally (spd report, 1993)
on march 18th, 1994, courtney love called the police saying that kurt locked himself in a room with the intention of killing himself, but it was to really get away from her. he stated that he wasn't suicidal and didn't want to hurt himself. (spd report, 1994)
