To those people who stated that it is a person/individual choice if he wants to indulge in “Premarital sex”

Sexual license over women is a valued "commodity" and for a man to take it without paying the appropriate price (assuming economic support) is equivalent to stealing.

Chastity is valued for girls and for a boy to take sexual liberties with a girl and not pay the price is regarded as being more than just an offense against the girl. It is an offense against all those persons who are concerned with
her integrity.

The proposition that social control will be exercised over the girl to the extent that persons whose" integrity is affected by her actions"are in a position to restrict her behavior.
Because women r responsible for the continuity of Hindu traditions further.

Pre-marital sex will tarnish their self-worth and negatively affect their marriageability. Women in Hindu households are at the epicenter of reproducing traditions, and their sexual experiences affect their progeny and in effect not conform to cultural expectations.

Women’s sexual agency arise due to progressiveness amongst Hindus and recent spurge in liberal values and feminist ideology creeping in H Society enabling women to have autonomy over their sexual decisions.
