BARBARIC STRENGTH

You got a bunch of experts giving you a bunch of different programs, it’s damn near impossible to figure out what works best. This is the first mistake.
Look—it’s not about finding the most efficient program to reach your goals. You can spend years looking for it and never find it. Your physique is the result of all the years you spend training, not the 30 day routine you find from some workout.
In addiction, too many men focus on their 1 rep max. How much do ya bench, bruh?
Listen—you don’t need to test your 1 rep max. Hell, your working set maxes are far more important.

Who do you think looks better? The guy who benches 300 for 1 rep, or the guy who benches 300 for 4x12?
It’s important to increase your working-set-max. This is how you win.

Testing your 1 rep max is a sure way to stall and risk injury. When you get injured, training is compromised. The goal is to not get injured because the more training years you rack up, the better you’ll look.
You have to train in a range that reduces your chance of injury while also increasing your 1 rep max.
You often see routines like Starting Strength, Sronglifts, 5x5 used to build strength. But let’s be honest, they don’t do much in terms of aesthetics and you stall out quick

A few years ago I designed a strength program for myself.
I’ve done almost everything from CrossFit to Starting Strength to 5/3/1 to bodybuilding and I still didn’t look like I lift.

I was tired of putting in the work and feeling like nothing was happening. This is when I came up with the Barbaric Strength Program (which I’m offering for cheap in the link in my bio and at the end of this thread).
Barbaric Strength added 55lbs to my bench and 40lbs to my squat in 3 months. I went from barely getting 225 up for 3 reps on the bench press to doing it for 10x5(part of the Barbaric Strength methodology).
By the time I was done, there was no mistake—I got jacked

Barbaric Strength is a more intuitive way to train.
The rep range is 10x5 on the big 3. I experimented with including the shoulder press, but you’ll make better hypertrophy gains by using the seated press with Delt raises while also sparing your lower back.

Every workout wasn’t always 10x5, some days it might only be 7-8x5 depending on how I felt, but 10x5 was the goal to increase the weight.
With 10x5, you start with what you know you can do 5x5 with and go for bloke(with a time limit of course, don’t spend all day in the gym, only 30-35 mins is enough for the main lift).
Some CrossFit guy said men would die for points and he isn’t wrong. How many sets of 5 can you get in 30 mins? This is how you build strength and muscle.
It’s more than linear progression, it’s dynamic progression. Barbaric Strength thrives on intuition and instinct.

You will work with heavy weights, but not so heavy that you risk injury. It’s also designed to make sure you make gains in every workout so that you don’t run into that dreaded wall that’s in every LP program and get demoralized.
I have a lot of faith that this program will work for anyone who wants to get knuckledragger-strong and actually look like they lift weights—if they want it bad enough. Do the work and eat like a long.
