An important thread about something I've been meaning to write for ages.

In postmodernism, systemic power operates through all of us by means of how language structures social and even our interactions with material reality, so there's a whole metaphysics of discourse in the Woke worldview.

If anyone becomes infected with the wrong discourses, in Woke postmodernism (a mutation on the OG), they become perpetuators of the systemic oppression those discourses structure into reality. That's not allowed.

The metaphysics of discourse sees discourses as something like the Holy Spirit, moving through everyone to inspire their wills, and discourses that support systemic oppression, even by accident or incident, are Satanic, while "liberatory" ones are holy.

This, there must be strict enforcement of purity on discourses, including by cancelling problematic voices and by constantly looking for more problematics hidden in the discourses. This explains their relentless obsession with nitpicking words.

In a way, it's all very religious. Controlling the discourses is their way of sanctifying their temple (society and its texts, which means everything that can have systemic power dynamics read into it (Derrida), which is everything). No shoes in the inner sanctum. Priests only.
