Someone told me that vaginas & female anatomy have nothing to do with the oppression of women.

And well... I wanna prove them wrong sooo you know what that means? Time for a #Deedeethread.

Name all the times vagina's & female anatomy had EVERYTHING to do with our oppression.

This person said. "Do you think a Vagina has anything to do with why a man would beat on a woman?!"

Well. Yes I imagine that it does since the majority of domestic abuse survivors have vagina's and their assailants are heterosexual men 90% of the time. Also. They don't beat men

But... Well... 90% of those victims sharing the same common denominator being that... They all had vagina's. But that can be a coincidence.

But u know what? Besides that. I'll give you all ANOTHER example for when female Anatomy mattered ALOT. in someone's oppression

Let's take for example. Sex trafficking.

I imagine that to a sex trafficker it matters to him ALOT that his merchandise (the kidnapped girls) have vagina's and are women. Not men that identify as women.

Because the clientèle who fill his pockets are well... Heterosexual men

Oooop! Here's ANOTHER ONE! over 98% of all rape committed is committed by a man and the victim is ALWAYS female in those cases.

So... Do these pple with vaginas get raped BECAUSE their aggressors are violent heterosexual men?

Hmm... Maybe vaginas DO matter to our attackers.
