Brahma is the only god in the Vedic pantheon who doesn't keep any weapon with him. He holds an oblong water pot known as Kamandalu and uses the water of this pot to paralyze the demons.

King Dharma and three women named Shama, Kama and Harsha emerged from Brahma's right chest. Upon Brahma's advice, Dharma married the three women. Brahma instated Dharma as the sustainer of all living beings.
Sage Bhrigu emerged from Brahma's left chest who is the progenitor of Brahmana race belonging to the celestial realm.
Two beings named Dhata and Bidhata emerged from the eyes of Brahma's first head. Brahma ordained them as the determiners of fate of all living beings.
Daksha was born from Brahma's right toe. A beautiful woman known as Prasuti was born from Brahma's left toe. Upon Brahma's advice, Daksha married Prasuti. Brahma instated Daksha as the first Prajapati and granted him the lordship over all creatures.
