How important and influential Lacazette is to the Arsenal team.

THREAD:
In this thread I’ll be using stats and proof of how important lacazette is to the Arsenal team.

To start off, Lacazette has a G/A of 137 per minute in the premier league this season which is equivalent Harry Kane’s. To put that into perspective, firmino’s G/A per minute is 175.
Lacazette always brings the best out of Arsenal’s wingers. Dropping deep to open spaces for Aubameyang and Pepe to score.
Looking at the last time Auba dropped a big performance, scoring twice and getting an assist. Lacazette was the starting striker in that game. As seen in the picture, Lacazette’s average position is very deep which, as seen, allows auba to exploit the space.
Looking back at the last time Pepè scored an open play goal for Arsenal. As seen on the picture, Lacazette dropped even deeper which gave Aubameyang and Pepè tons of space to run into. Resulting in the goal.
Under Arteta, Lacazette was starting next to Pepè in 2/3 games which Pepè scored in. And lacazette started next to Aubameyang in 4/6 games which Aubameyang scored in. (In the Premier League)
Under Arteta, Aubameyang scored in only 1/7 games which Lacazette didn’t start. And Pepe scored in only 1/4 games which laca didn’t start in. (Premier League)
Eddie Nketiah is a good poacher but what he can’t do is bring the best out of Pepe and Aubameyang because both wingers struggle when Eddie start. It’s not a matter of “bellerin makes Pepe look bad” it’s just a matter of lacazette isn’t on so pepe doesn’t have space to run into.
Other than Lacazette’s ability to create space by his runs off the ball, as you can see by his heat map this season, he’s a player that will track back and help the midfield completing 1.2 tackles/interceptions PG (which is better than many defenders in the league).
Furthermore, Lacazette’s passion is unquestionable. The man gives in 110% in every game and always tracks back even though he knows that it’ll probably mean he’ll score less goals. He’ll do anything to help the team even if it means him not scoring.
Lacazette has been the man Arsenal rely on in big games. He scored goals against the entire top 6 in only a couple years in the league. With vital goals away at Valencia and home against Atletico Madrid. The man never cracks under pressure.
To conclude I just wanted to say by talking about Eddie and Firmino I don’t mean to come out as saying they’re bad players. I think Firmino is very similar to laca in that he sacrifices his goals to help the team. And I also think Eddie is a very good young talent that needs time
