Oh boy!! While sweet, it's getting dirty.
I am a MASSIVE fan of @dhh however, he's miscalculated on this issue and/or underestimated @balajis willingness to fight.
It is clear @TaylorLorenz struck first and tried to claim victim-hood by immorally eliminating context.. https://twitter.com/dhh/status/1279525428567261184

It was an incredible move considering topic was distrust of "journalists". Perhaps some cannot help themselves?
And @dhh, applauding the incorrigible leak and publishing of private convos? Naaa https://twitter.com/OoTheNigerian/status/1278441689913401344

I hope @dhh isn't conflating he & @jasonfried's "VC beef" with beefing with anything a VC happens to side.
The leaked recording likely had >60% non VCs. Why support that?
You can be right on SOME issues (SOME Apple policies) & wrong on others(SOME positions SOME VCs sopport

In closing, I do hope @balajis and @dhh call a truce and focus on the topic under discussion, which about the expected accountability of journalists (my dad says to me "every right, implies a responsibility") and not into another tribal war.
For those that want context of this brouhaha. this thread by @jdotarnold is the most balanced and concise I have seen.
