He’s played 9 times for Germany and has made 43 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season and would get into our team. Exactly what we need in my opinion with an average rating of 6.90 in the Bundesliga (more than Lindelöf and Bailly).

2. Caglar Soyuncu
The Turkish CB from Leicester has had a brilliant breakthrough season and has all the right attributes for the position: pace, strength and defensive awareness. At 23, it would be more on the expensive side but worth it, for me.

Playing for Juventus this season, Demiral has shown his quality despite being injured and with other world-class defenders at Juve now a move may be on the cards. He’s 21 and looks very good from what I’ve seen.

The 19 year old, currently playing for Monaco has been linked to Chelsea and us and is a regular for the French side. A strong and powerful CB that would perform well under Ole.

5. Kalidou Koulibaly
The most expensive and in-demand CB on the list, with Liverpool and Man City also looking at him, Koulibaly would be massive for us at the back. Koulibaly has asked to leave and we would have to pay between 65 and 100mil for his signature.
