Islam is the religion of peace , tolerance and co-existence, islam teaches us not to initiate war as the Quranic verse says “Fight in the way of God against those who fight against you, but do not transgress. Surely Allah do not love the transgressors" (2:190). 1/n
Also as the verse 2:256 says , "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion......" Moreover in surah qafiroon (109:1-6) Allah clearly revealed that for the non believers there religion and for the believers there religion.2/n
These verses were revealed to Holy Prophet pbuh who was the last messenger of the religion of Allah SWT. The Holy Prophet only invited people to the religion , those who rejected his message were not forced to join the religion.3/n
He didnt fight against them , until they fought against him . He let them worship whatever they wanted to worship. Also when Pakistan became independent the father of the nation said , 4/n
"You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed—that has nothing to do with the business of the state."5/n
In the end i just want to say if you want to see the spread of islam and flourishment of islam , and if you want to see more mosques in the countries where muslims arent rulers , if you want the west and countries like France to not abandon parda and other islamic rituals 6/n
If you want a good image of islam , and a tolorant behavior towards muslims , if you want the world to respect us because we are Muslims so we should play our role. We should allow the construction of this temple .This way they will do it too. Lets learn to co exist peacefully!
Prophet said, “Beware, if anyone wrongs a mu`ahid [i.e. a non-Muslim enjoying the protection of Muslims], or diminishes his right, or forces him to work beyond his capacity, or takes from him anything without his consent, I shall be his adversary on the Day of Judgment.”
