Hello just a friendly reminder that if you’re gonna be angry about people going to the pub, your anger should be directed towards the government for reopening them, not at the people going to them.
People tweeting that they went to the pub and people replying with nastiness. Some people trust the govt. Myself and a lot of others don’t. But some people do. So they believe it’s safe to go to the pub, because that’s what they’re being told. Don’t be angry at those people.
I agree with people saying people should use common sense. But what frustrates me is that when there’s a spike, the govt will say “oh it’s cos people didn’tdistance at the pub like we told them to” rather than “we shouldn’t have opened pubs”, thus diverting blame from themselves.
Oooh I’ve never used the word thus before, even in assignments cos I didn’t know how to use it. But that felt right and it just came out so I hope I used it correctly lmao
