Twin Parallels

Systemic Misogyny:

Customs, traditions ideas and language built into the fabric of a society to the point where it is conditioned into every person living in said society. This is known as socialization. It is unconscious and therefore invisible to the dominant
group, unless the targets vocalize vociferously about it.

Systemic Racism:

Customs, traditions ideas and language built into the fabric of a society to the point where it is conditioned into every person living in said society. This is also known as socialization.
It is unconscious and therefore invisible to the dominant group, unless the targets vocalize vociferously about it.

Common defense mechanism:
Denial, Anger, whataboutisms, man-‘splaining, white-‘splaining Efforts to explain to the target group that their perceptions are wrong.
That somehow the target group ‘misinterpreted’ or ‘misunderstood’ the intentions of the offender.
Offenders when called out on offensive words/behavior will turn to other offenders and say “i was only joking” at such times this is what I call “Offender solidarity”
Offender solidarity:

Verbal statements by others in the offenders group that support and defend the words or behaviors of the accused Offender.
The tormented group is seen as disruptive, angry and vengeful. Consider the source of terms like: “Femme Nazi” and “The Angry Black Women/Man”
Attempts by the offending group to punish those in the offending group that speak out in defense of the tormented.
Ex: calling men ‘beta males’ for standing firm for the rights of women.
Ex: calling whites Ni**er lover for standing firm for the rights of black people.
Attempts by the offending group to minimize the problem with statements such as.
“well not all men….” And “not all whites’
But I will put forth that the most powerful tool in Offender Solidarity is silence by other members of the offending group.
“We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”

I will also put forth that the use of the terms “All men” or “All whites” is justifiable and accurate.
Why?
Laws have been written in such a manner as to encourage the tormenting of the target groups, and enough of the dominate group engage in the oppressive behavior either by
action or inaction that it is rare when the target group comes across a member of the dominate group that does not engage in and actively pushes back against the oppressive behavior.
Solution:
In both parallels the message being delivered by the target groups is clear and unambiguous.
Stop the oppressive behavior.
This message has been exactly the same for both groups for generations.
These are my thoughts.
