Perfect mansplaining
I was in two minds as to whether I should scratch out his name, but I thought it important to see who he is, and I know I can trust you not to seek him out and @ him. Who knows, maybe he suffers from compulsive literalism (as many do on this site).
I am, fairly perhaps, receiving some criticism for being unkind. I’m in two minds as to whether I delete the original tweet. I think the replies I’ve retweeted highlight an issue. If I delete the original I’d have to delete them too. Perhaps it’s better to see the full picture.
I deliberately didn’t @ the person. I know this won’t stop some people seeking them out and having a pop.
So I’m going to leave it up there, feel shit about myself for being unkind, and hope that in some small way we might learn something from this.
