#GuruPoornima Today was born in DwaparaYuga, Bhagavān Vyāsa, who represents the whole of Guru-parampara, unto whom we owe ourselves. Can we imagine #SanatanDharma without Bhagavān Vyāsa? (1/n)
But for Bhagawan Vyāsa, the Vedas revealed to the Ṛishis & transmitted orally since time immemorial, wouldn't have been compiled and documented. It wouldn't have been preserved & compiled

But for Bhagawan Vyasa, Vedas would not have been transmitted systematically, through unique institutions & traditions,the marvels of human thought &organising,of grit & determination, & passed down the generations for over 5,500 yrs already, with many millinea to come(3/n)
But for Bhagawan Vyāsa, there would be no Mahābhārata. We would have forgotten a significant chapter comprising of a few 1000 years of our civilisational history & glorious ancestry (4/n)
But for Bhagawan Vyāsa, we would have none of the 18 Mahā-Purāṇa-s. We would have remained dry intellects, without the faculty of Bhakti that gushes out an all encompassing love, inspiring the best out of us -- in thought, speech and deed (5/n)
But for Vyāsa, we wouldn't have known Kṛṣṇa, the Yogeśvara,& the whole of Guru-parampara he represents, we would have been oblivious to the Vedāntic declaration that each one of us is potentially divine(6/n)
