I think there is a misunderstanding here.

The Bering Land Bridge theory refers to the possibility of the peopling of the americas via an "Ice Free Corridor" in the Rocky Mountains, which is likely false. It is not the same as the Beringia land mass. https://twitter.com/Jasparrows/status/1279343816345075712
The problem with this post is that it suggests a North American origin for humans. Homo sapiens migrated to "the Americas" from the continent of Asia, likely over the course of several migration events. We have no archaeological evidence of any other homo in the Americas.
Recent evidence suggests that early inhabitants of the Americas actually traveled via the coast, likely sea-faring at least in shallower waters. No one knows for certain, but this seems to be a much more likely route than the early proposed Ice-Free Corridor hypothesis.
REGARDLESS of which route was taken, these people were the first peoples in inhabit the Americas. This does not make them "settlers" in the same sense that we think of European settlers. They did not displace, subjugate, or commit genocide against other human beings to live here.
There would have been a relatively narrow window of time for this migration to occur; as the glaciers melted and allowed for further migration, so did sea levels rise enough to block access between Asia and the Americas, cutting off migration of humans and non-human animals
This means that for 11-12 THOUSAND years, the people living in the Americas developed culture, technology, language etc. independently. They learned to live with the land, developed sophisticated agriculture, built cities and societies etc.
My entire point here is that having immigrated at such and such a point does not invalidate indigenous land-claims and people who use that as an excuse to justify colonialism 1. are racist asshats and 2. know nothing. We all immigrated out of Africa at some point
P.S. I wrote this entire thread earlier and it was far more articulate, but twitter yeeted it into oblivion so I kind of half-assed it the second time. Q__Q
