I can’t even yawn without a violent coughing fit starting. Y’all. Please stay inside. Please just wear your masks. It’s been over a month since I had covid and I’ve never been the same since.
And even if you’ve been tested and it came out negative, it doesn’t mean you don’t have it or you never had it. False negatives are possible. Which is what initially happened to me and then two other tests confirmed I had it.
I didn’t go through that horror in the hospital for y’all to still play games with your lives like this. Like??? I nearly lost my damn life. And the only place I went to was the grocery store and I looked at 1 property with my realtor and we social distanced + wore masks.
Is there any data on covid also triggering skin conditions? I’ve been getting these random red spots all over my body. Never ever had this pre-covid. They’re not itchy or raised. They’re just.....there.
TMI but, I think the diarrhea was the biggest thing for me. Like I literally fainted in the bathroom one day after and my mom had to carry me back to bed. I couldn’t even keep water in. It’s caused me to lose a dangerous amount of weight that I have yet to regain. https://twitter.com/DaniOliver/status/1279155362273333248
I recorded it and sent it to the infectious disease doctor I spoke to who told me to go get tested. My wheezing was SO bad and this wasn’t even the worst of it. It was just how I sounded right before my call with her. The times I didn’t record? Whew. Stay. Inside.
My newest covid symptom—my palms are randomly swelling and it makes it impossible to hold anything or even move them. I literally have to hold ice just for it to be bearable. It kept me up all night. Ugh.
It’s hard to see in this image but they are so ridiculously swollen right now. I’m literally in tears from this pain. Guys, please just stay inside. Please. I had a life threatening asthma attack last night followed by the swelling.
Another thing I forgot to add that I’ve been experiencing: my skin will get so hot to the point where it literally feels like I’m burning. That’s the closest description I can provide. Right now, my neck feels like the metal part of a car seatbelt on a HOT summer day.
Like, my mom touched my neck a few days ago and she immediately had to remove her hand. THAT is how hot my skin has been. It’s mainly happening on my upper body (neck/hands) but it’s started on my thighs last night. I’ve never experienced this before. It’s really scary.
I have to keep ice or something cold within reach or the heat becomes unbearable. All while my feet are absolutely frozen. I’m anemic, so I’m used to cold feet. But this half hot half cold body is really wearing on me. I can’t find a comfortable balance between heat/AC.
Still having the random swelling that primarily affects my hands for some reason :/ I got covid end of May, it’s August. I am still not recovered & my quality of life has diminished drastically. Before you go out to that party, the beach, or don’t wear your mask, remember this.
Do you guys see how these pants fit me quite loosely? They used to be really tight pre-covid. Covid has completely destroyed my appetite to the point where I have to literally take drugs to eat. And even then, I can’t eat much. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight rapidly.
