1) Inconsistent Messaging and Fanatic Adherence.
It is nearly impossible for me to be genuinely secure in my beliefs when people I trust give me conflicting views and expect me to agree with them or face denunciation.

...Country or leader without facing needless pushback from various MLs and MLMs who each have the one TRUE interpretation. This is especially a problem when I speak on my support for China as happened today.
I resent being put on the defensive, because Im not ideologically pure enough for some and I shouldnt have to be annoyed by some know it all who has never led a revolution nor worked in government over the path on China or any country.
It is fine to disagree with me, but thats it. Dont try to debate me, I will be rude about it, cuz I have had enough.

You are not a better person just because you are a Leftist. You are not better than me, because you think you know what is best. If you know what is best you don't have to result to moralizing to argue your point.
I understand that is hard. I do it too, but it is grating and it leads to us harassing and bullying people who just dont deserve it and I am deeply sorry and feel deeply guilty for my role in that.
3) Harassment and Bullying Culture
As alluded to earlier, there is a deep harassment and bullying culture in the left and Maoists in my experience are the absolute worst offenders, which is actually why I dont like them very much.

I know this is the internet, but these are real complex people youre dealing with. It doesnt matter if you think they deserve it, this culture causes unnecessary harm that doesnt educate nor does it rectify the situation.

4) Denial of Systemic Issues
Its not a few bad apples, its not something that can be simply blamed on the internet or whatever. This is pervasive across the Left and I was stupid enough to believe MLs were above that.

In my country there is likely no more than 100,000 Marxist Leninists out of a population of 325 Million. The supermajority of Americans will only ever encounter you online, therefore your behavior on here is how MLs and MLMs will be perceived by the American Masses
Yall can control your perception by presenting your best self, but many of you choose instead self righteousness and aggression, which isnt a good look for people who unironically defend Stalin... jus sayin.

6) A Community of Broken People
We are for the most part broken people and for that reason many of us have found community and bonding from our shared pain, but as the saying goes "hurt people hurt people".

We should be more understanding of each other's pain and not use our pain as a weapon nor should we try and compete over who has the most pain and act like conversations on other people's pain is a distraction from ours.
