During Check-in was told that I was one of 50 allowed on the flight, in reference to Sydney’s cap of 450 travellers a day

On plane was given this document before takeoff, which is slightly out of date
Upon landing was informed we would do the full 14 days of quarantine and given these documents
After landing we were informed to stay in our seats. 50 minutes later we were informed the ABF won’t let us off until other planes have arrived and their passengers alighted

An hour later informed we can alight. Underwent temperature check then informed of hotel quarantine situation. Health screeners wearing PPE but no eye protection.
Moved to immigration, no PPE. Afterwards picked up luggage and proceeded to baggage screening

Announcements emphasised no taking of photos of health workers and many signs in English and Simplified Chinese on COVID.
Now sitting in closed off section of baggage area waiting for buses to hotel. Water handed out to everyone and chairs socially distanced

Taken to Novotel Central. Given basic run down on procedure by NSW Police. Nothing new, will be fed, can order food or have family/friends drop off items. Can leave midnight on the last day.

Apparently earlier delay was caused by hospitalisation of a person in earlier group. Bus before us has been here for two hours.

Finally off the bus after another hour of waiting. Processed, details given for contact tracing. Will be swabbed tomorrow. Shown to room and given information booklet.

Lunch has arrived, fish and chips with a salad, coke and a bag of chips. Stated I had no preferences. Staff left it in a bag and knocked on the door.

Received a phone call from a nurse checking in to see if I’ve developed any symptoms. Will be a daily occurance
Dinner arrived soon after. Realise that I’m not too sure what to do with any leftover rubbish (might just leave it outside the door but will call to confirm)
