So today we celebrate our independence and the formation of the greatest country on Planet Earth. Controversial statement? Sure is according to many. Many would say that we were, or have become the tyrannical oppressors that we fought, bled and died, to gain our freedom from.
But to say that the world hasn’t evolved in the last 244 years would be the most icredously archane statement of all time. Which makes the vision, foresight and incredible intuition under which our Fore Fathers operated so much more than what we give them credit for.
Freedom, let’s throw that word out there, as it is at the forefront of every argument. Freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from unlawful search and seizure.... everything that as subjects to a foreign crown we didn’t enjoy, the FF’s made sure to establish and protect.
They couldn’t have possibly foresee. What 1976, much less 2020 would be like. Space travel, global travel and commerce, 325 million American citizen, the internet advances in medicine, science and technology. None of these weren’t of the thought process 244 years ago....

It of people’s list!
It of people’s list!
So as the immortal Prince once sang...”you say you want a leader, but you can’t make up your mind...I think you better close it...and let me guide you to the Purple Rain........ can you imagine Prince, Dylan, Lennon, writing protest songs in 1776?
Can you imagine Henry penning “Give me liberty or give me death” in 2020.? It is impossible to use revisionist history 244 years in the future to re-write the reality of the past. The USA was founded on the idealistic principles which we still hold to be self evident today.
Are we perfect? No... so we have social and politics
Issues today? Most certainly. We were founded out of protest, out of a strong disdain for the status quo and a belief that we could be better and do better.

And for such a young country with such high hopes and such idealistic beliefs, we have come a long way and become the beacon of light in a world that has been satus quo for so long.
