Target TSLA: Episode 24 (July 4th MegaThread!) Tons of #OperationSnapshot photos to come, but let's start with an awesome shot by the VADP of Tesla Expansion Reality™ - another tent in Fremont! Now we have Papa, Baby and Momma Tent. Plus a dozen or more bastards. $tslaQ $TSLA
Future Tesla Buyers: Pride of ownership starts right here.
The west coast is packed with inventory. The further east you go, the thinner the pickings. This is Burlingame on Friday 6/26 and yesterday. Even with the inferior ground angle, it's clear there are many more cars now. I've never seen it this packed before.
Vancouver courtesy of @eliuqiong...aside from the dirt, these might not seem remarkable until you learn that you're looking at unsold 2017/2018 cars.
The newer DC in Vancouver.
Minneapolis.
Vantaa, Finland from @fraudalot, who reports this site has been dead all month. Dig that classic suspension sag on the Model S.
Arizona from my long-time brother in arms @ValueExpected and recent recruit @desertrunnerr.
More AZ.
Syosset, NY from @Seth_Horwitz.
Mt. Kisco, NY courtesy of @RhinoVesting.
The eastern terminus of BNSF in Birmingham from @bbm010.
Massachusetts from SAF Rotary Wing Division stalwart @cppinvest.
Paramus, NJ.
Springfield, NJ.
Heathrow and Park Royal from our UK correspondent, who is convinced there is another storage lot in the London area. He's on it.
He's the man for the job...found a new storage room at Park Royal last week. I'm sure at least one of our forensics guys will be entertained.
(The Great) Paul Smith went back and shot that former Sears lot in Buena Park again...6/26 on the left, 7/1 on the right. Price cuts, anyone?
The facility at 500 Louise Avenue in Lathrop, CA is, of course, the birthplace of the SAF as we know it today. Q veterans will certainly recall this picture from July 2018, which ran in the NYT a few months later.
Such a scene would be impossible to reproduce today, but the VDAP paid a visit...and there are a hell of a lot of cars at Louise, more than we've seen since 2018.
They've got to go somewhere. This is somewhere. We don't know if these salable or rejects. But they're here.
For that matter, there were a hell of a lot of cars in Fremont last week...in a tiny echo of the Dust Bowl days in Lathrop, even a few parked in the dirt.
The lot on Osgood Road (second shot) was also pretty full. And...
...here's something I've never seen before, new cars parked in the east employee lot.

You can draw your own conclusions from all of this. Mine are: 1) There are a lot of unsold Teslas around, especially on the west coast. 2) The SGF has REACH!
Thanks to all who have contributed to #OperationSnapshot 2, our attempt to survey EoQ2 Tesla. Obviously there are lots of places we haven't covered. If you can fill any gaps, post using #SGFreport. Stay tuned for some Lathrop analysis by eagle eyed @JamesSantelli1. Cheers!
