Known white folk in family however in America Black folk got the range of colors from white men raping Black girls & women. Our dark colors got diluted & we ended up with every color from white—>Black. But also, where does our white show up? Well, here’s mine:

Unique. For these & many other reasons we are extremely protective of ourselves & our own conversations around race but perhaps more so around colorism. It’s “our family” conversation & it’s messy as your real family stuff. End
